Recent 2023-24 Mixed Media Paintings

Layers of paper, paint, written words and ink make up these latest mixed media paintings. Some are based on landscape views in nature where I live and some are abstractions made from memories derived from the human experience as well as my own memory. While I may draw from different initial subject matter, the common thread through it all is the layers of process and cells adding up to the total identity of the piece or life lived.
